Making modified RNA constructs of new pluripotency factors.
In collaboration with D. Sam MacLenachan and Dr. Fred Chen from Lions Eye Institue in Perth, Australia.
Dr Samuel McLenachan is a molecular cell biologist with a long-standing interest in the translation of medical research into clinical applications. Based in the recently established Ocular Tissue Engineering Laboratory at the Lion’s Eye Institute in Perth, Western Australia, Dr McLenachan is currently developing mRNA-based cellular reprogramming techniques for the production of ocular cells from embryonic and adult stem cells.
